Alternating Air cushion

TP3S

Cushion: powered by the Tri-Pos3 pump unit, this provides twenty-four hour Very High Risk Care. The mattress can be held inflated while the cushion is in use. The cushion base is non-slip. The zip is
located underneath to minimize the risk of liquid ingress. The sides and front edge are secure for maximum stability. (Code TP3S)

Static Cushions

Hi-Visc - conforms to anatomical curves.

Note better pressure redistribution and

less occlusion of tissue under ischi tuberosities.

TheHi-Visc cushion is used as a replacement for existing seat cushions.

HV29A / HV29B

Designed for High Risk patients.
Complements the Hi-Visc range of mattresses, giving a 24 hour comprehensive pressure redistributing system for the Community.
• Slimline: 7.5cm thickness of pure visco-elastic foam gives the armchair patient maximum pressure redistribution for the least increase in sitting height. (1)
• Superior positioning and stability due to better anatomical contouring: Visco elastic foam creates a natural pommel and trough effect acting against knee rotation. (2)
• Two-way stretch waterproof /vapour-pemieable cover ensures the clinical properties of the foam is maximised.
• Zip opening is set inboard and underneath.
(a) Ensures the cushion is always used the correct way up. (b) Minimises the risk of contamination: underneath zips avoid long upper side seams which risk ingress of fluids; fluids will not rise upwards. (c) Allows easy inspection of foam.
Non slip base to counteract downward slide (1).

Revolutionary two-layer design:
• The upper layer - VISCO — ELASTIC developed originally for the American Space Programme - is both energy absorbing and temperature sensitive
• The lower supporting layer - Reflex - has a fatigue classification of “X”, representing extremely severe use when tested to BS3379.

BodyFoam Modular Cushion:

The BodyFoam Cushion is designed for those at risk of pressure sores whilst sitting.
It has the excellent pressure redistribution characteristics of modular foam held within the Non- slip base with zip set inboard to reduce risk of contamination.

BFM27a/ l7ax Size: 18” x 16” x 2.5”(Low profile)

BodyFoam Cushion fits standard wheelchair.

Fabric is waterproof, vapour permeable and robust.

Zip opening allows foam to be trimmed for smaller chairs.
